Day 1: Frankfurt
Upon arrival at Frankfurt airport, pick-up your rental car and drive a short distance to your hotel for check-in. In the aftrenoon meet your tour guide for a sightseeing tour of Frankfurt. Sites to visit would be the Römerberg Square, the 14th century cathedral and the Goethe House.
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's birthplace displays the life of the upper-middle class during the mid 18th century. Amonst all buildings in Frankfurt, St. Paul's Church is of great historic importance. Here Germany's first freely elected parliament met in 1848. Römerberg square (the Römer) and the old town hall, are in the center of the old quarter.

Day 2: Frankfurt - Mainz - Heidelberg
After breakfast, start traveling from Frankfurt via Mainz to Heidelberg. Your first stop in Mainz lets you see this charming capital of the Rhineland-Palatinate, ideally located at the confluence of the rivers Rhine and Main. The city of Mainz is known for its savoir vivre, a unique ambience and a cosmopolitan outlook. Whether you come to Mainz as a tourist or to attend a conference or one of Mainz's numerous festivals, you canl experience the open, friendly atmosphere of the town and its people. Places to see are St. Martin's Cathedral, the Electoral Palace and St. Stephen's Church.
Late afternoon, continue to Heidelberg and check-in at your hotel - the evening is at your leisure.

Day 3: Heidelberg - Rothenburg ob der Tauber
After breakfast, enjoy a city sightseeing tour of Heidelberg, located on the river Neckar. From the heights of the famous castle fortress you experience an excellent overview of the old quarter of this romantic town.
Heidelberg's famous castle and its picturesque old quarter attracts visitors from all over the world. For centuries many artists, poets, writers and composers have been inspired by this youthful town which is home to Germany's oldest university marked by plenty of history.
Romantic and idyllic, cosmopolitan and dynamic - no doubt Heidelberg represents both tradition and history. Later continue along the Romantic Road to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, the most well-preserved town on the Romantic Road. After check-in at your hotel, the remaining part of the day is at your leisure.
Suggestion: after dinner at one of the authentic, traditional restaurants stroll around this ancient town - possibly together with the town's night watchman - an unforgettable experience.

Day 4: Rothenburg - Munich
After breakfast, have a detailed sightseeing tour of Rothenburg. A walk through this small town is an unforgettable encounter with past centuries. The imposing Renaissance building of the Town Hall, stately towers, massive fortifications, churches and patrician houses are witnesses to a mighty imperial past. Walking to the market square through narrow cobbled streets and their high gabled houses, feels like being put back into the 16th century.
In the afternoon contnue youur drive along the Romantic Road through peaceful countryside and villages with their flower-decked farmhouses.

Day 5: Munich
After breakfast take a sightseeing tour around the city of Munich, Germany's third largest city and the capital of Bavaria. Sites include the Olympic Stadium with its impressive "hanging roof". Continue along the famous Ludwigstrasse past the university and Victory Arch into the heart of the city.Regularly crowds gather at Marienplatz outside the soaring neo-gothic Town Hall to watch the colorful Glockenspiel.

Day 6: Munich - Oberammergau - Neuschwanstein Castle
After breakfast travel through beautiful peaceful countryside of the Bavarian Alps to Oberammergau, since 1634 home of the famous Passion Play. Here there is time to admire the many ornate wall-paintings on the village houses and to perhaps visit the spectacular Passion Play Theatre.
Continue along the German Alpine Road to the Wieskirche, a masterpiece of Bavarian Rococo. Later on visit the "fairy-tale castle" Neuschwanstein, situated on a spectacular Alpine mountainside. This was King Ludwig II's favorite castle. Horse- drawn carriages take you up to visit lavishly decorated apartments, which include the Throne Room and Lohengrin Grotto.
Back in the city of Munich, have dinner at one of the many traditional "Bier-Kellers" and enjoy typical Bavarian entertainment.

Day 7: Munich - Dresden
After breakfast, drive north across the River Danube to Nuremberg, a city rich in early German history and medieval architecture. A sightseeing tour will show you the Old Town which was carefully rebuilt after wartime destruction. Nuremberg is well known for its unique blend of stone, timbered houses and the massive ramparts with its 46 towers. Here you can buy some delicious "Lebkuchen" (gingerbread) Later on continue to drive to Dresden.

Day 8: Dresden
After breakfast join a local guide will take you on a sightseeing tour of historic Dresden, also called " the Florence of the Elbe" Highlights are a visit to the Frauenkirche, which has been rebuilt after its massive destruction during WWII. "The Procession of the Dukes", a mosaic of colossal proportions on the Royal Palace façade, the Cathedral, the Semper Opera House and the impressive baroque Zwinger Palace. The evening is at your leisure.

Day 9: Berlin
After breakfast, plan your departure for Berlin, the capital of Germany.
After check-in at your hotel, meet your local tour guide for a sightseeingH tour of Berlin. Highlight of this tour are Unter den Linden, the Humboldt University, the Opera, a visit to the outstanding Museum Island - an excellent collection of fine art. Afterwards pass through the Brandenburg Gate, the symbol of renunification and visit the glass-domed "Reichstag Building" followed by a drive through the Tiergarten, which is Berlin's largest park, and a haven of nature and a recreational amenity for Berliners. Every summer it is transformed into a giant barbecue party. It is also well-known as the venue for the Love Parade. At the centre of the park is the "Great Star" roundabout and the towering Victory Column, one of Berlin's famous landmarks. Within Tiergarten is Schloss Bellevue, the official residence of the President of Germany.

Kaufhaus des Westens on Wittenberg Platz
The largest department store in continental Europe, the KaDeWe, offers a huge variety of international designer labels. It has everything the heart desires, from jewelry and porcelain to ladies' and men's fashions. No visit would be complete without a trip to the legendary food hall on the sixth floor.
Potsdamer Platz
A new shopping centre has been created right at the new centre of Berlin, on Potsdamer Platz. In a modern architectural setting, the three-storey mall boasts fashions, designer accessories, shoes and much, much more.
Kurfürstendamm and Friedrichstrasse
Kurfürstendamm (also known as Ku'damm) runs from the Memorial Church to Lake Halensee, which marks the beginning of the exclusive "villa district" in the west of Berlin.
The top end of Ku'damm is packed with department stores and fashion boutiques, and is a shopping paradise for young and old alike. From Adenauerplatz the stores become more exclusive: designer names from Jil Sander to Yves St. Laurent in elegant fin de siècle buildings.
Friedrichstrasse links the glory days of the Roaring Twenties with modern architecture. With its new buildings, smart offices and coffee shops, it brings a flavor of New York to the heart of Berlin.
Checkpoint Charlie
Established in 1962 next to the legendary Checkpoint Charlie border crossing, the "Haus am Checkpoint Charlie" Museum is an exhibition on the history of the Berlin Wall and the partition of the city. It contains original items used in underground, over ground and even airborne attempts to flee East Germany. There are also exhibitions on Berlin's history and on the international non-violent fight for human rights.
In the evening, have dinner at one of the many typical Berlin restaurants and enjoy some of Berlin's famous nightlife.

Day 11: Departure from Germany
After breakfast, check-out from your hotel and drive to Berlin Tegel Airport. Return your rental car prior to your flight home.
