Day 1: Munich

Upon arrival in Munich, check-in at your hotel and relax. Explore the capital of Bavaria on your own.

Day 2: Munich - Sightseeing

Munich: Theatinerkirche Church 
						 Copyright: GNTB/ Marth, GundhardAfter breakfast, start a private guided Munich tour around the city of Germany's third largest city. Sites include the Olympic Stadium with its impressive amazing "hanging roof", continue along the famous Ludwigstrasse past the university and Victory Arch into the heart of the city. Regularly, crowds gather at Marienplatz outside the soaring neo-gothic Town Hall to watch the colorful Glockenspiel.

In the afternoon, take leisure time to explore the Hofbräuhaus beer hall, the Pinakothek art galleries, Olympic stadium, Nymphenburg castle.

Day 3: Munich - Oberammergau - Neuschwanstein Castle

In the morning, plan a full day excursion by chauffeur driven car to the famous royal castles Neuschwanstein and Linderhof including a shopping stop in Oberammergau, famous for the Passion Play which takes place every ten years, next in 2010.

Day 4: Munich - Dresden

Upon arrival in Dresden, a private transfer will take you to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day and evening is at your disposal.

Day 5: Dresden - Sightseeing

Dresden, Semper Opera House After breakfast, enjoy a private guided sightseeing tour of historical Dresden, also called the "Florence on the Elbe", and named a UNESCO World Heritage site including important sights like the recently restored Frauenkirche, the Semper Opera House, the Green Vault and the famous Baroque Zwinger. Later on, continue to explore Dresden on your own.

Suggestion: spend the evening at the opera.

Day 6: Dresden - Leipzig

Later on, your travel will continue to the city of Leipzig. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and relax.

Day 7: Leipzig - Berlin

Copyright: GNTB / Schwarz, Astrid After breakfast, enjoy a private guided sightseeing tour of Leipzig known for its music and international trade fair, the "Leipziger Messe". Here, visit the tomb of composer Johann Sebastian Bach in the famous Thomas Church.

In the afternoon, your chauffeur continues to take you to Berlin, the capital of Germany with a stop in the city of Wittenberg, where in 1517, Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Schlosskirche and set the Reformation in motion. Luther is buried in the same church. Upon arrival in Berlin, check-in at your hotel and relax for the evening.

Day 8: Berlin - Sightseeing

Highlights of this tour are Unter den Linden, the Humboldt University, the Opera, a visit to the outstanding Museum Island, an excellent collection of fine art. Afterwards, pass through the Brandenburg Gate, Berlin's symbol of reunification. See the Reichstag building, a symbol of Hitler's rise to power. Drive through the Tiergarten, the oldest park in the city and a haven of nature and a recreational amenity for the Berliners. Every summer it is transformed into a giant barbecue party. It is also well known as the venue for the Love Parade. At the centre of the park is the "Great Star" roundabout and the towering Victory Column, one of Berlin's famous landmarks. Within Tiergarten is Schloss Bellevue, the official residence of the President of Germany. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure.

Suggestion: Visit the Pergamon Museum and its well known vast collection. In the evening, enjoy dinner at one of the many authentic Berlin restaurants and sample Berlin's outstanding nightlife.

Day 9: Potsdam

Potsdam, New Palais.
Copyright: GNTB / Marth, Gundhard After breakfast, your chauffeur takes you to the nearby residence town of Postdam, famous for its splendid palaces and gardens. Enjoy a stroll through these beautiful gardens and the city of Potsdam.

Later on, your chauffeur takes you back to your hotel where you can either relax or explore the bustling city of Berlin on your own.

Suggestion: Stroll along the Kurfuerstendamm, also called "Ku-damm" , Berlin's famous shopping street or take a boat ride on the river Spree giving you an excellent view of Berlin.

Day 10: Berlin

After breakfast, choose between another tour to see some more highlights of the city of Berlin or you may explore the city on your own.

In the evening, have dinner at one of the many typical Berlin restaurants and enjoy some of Berlin's famous nightlife.
