Day 1: Frankfurt - Ruedesheim

Depart from Frankfurt in the morning and on to Ruedesheim, famous for its wines and vineyards.

We take a Rhine cruise from Ruedesheim to Boppard, passing romantic castles and take lunch on board. Transfer back to Ruedesheim by car.

In the evening enjoy a welcome dinner at “Jagdschloss Niederwald”. Overnight at  Castle Hotel Jagdschloss Niederwald, Ruedesheim.

Day 2: Ruedesheim - Heidelberg - Bad Rappenau

After Breakfast you will be taken to Heidelberg where we visit the inner courtyard of the impressive castle and its wine cellar with the big barrel, continuing on a walking tour through the beautiful old university town.

In the afternoon we take the Castle Road along the River Neckar, passing by Neckarsteinach to Bad Rappenau. Overnight at Castle Hotel Schloss Heinsheim, Bad Rappenau.

Day 3: Bad Rappenau - Rothenburg - Wuerzburg

In the morning we drive from Bad Rappenau to Rothenburg. After a walking tour of the charming old town incl. Jakobschurch with an altar by T. Riemenschneider, we leave for Wuerzburg. Enjoy a tour of the magnificent Residence, a masterpiece of German Baroque architecture. Overnight at  Castle Hotel Schloss Steinburg, Wuerzburg.

Day 4: Wuerzburg - Nuremberg - Munich

After Breakfast drive to the historic city of Nuremberg, with its unique medieval city center. Walking tour to see the most interesting sights, like the Kaiserburg, St. Lorenz church, town wall and many more .

Stop at the Reichsparteitagsgelaende before continuing to Munich. Overnight at Hotel Kempinski 4 Seasons, Munich.

Day 5: Munich

Enjoy an extensive tour of Munich, showing you all the main sights of the splendid Bavarian capital, like the City Hall, Marienplatz, Olympic ground and inclusive of a visit to Nymphenburg Palace. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at Hotel Kempinski 4 Seasons, Munich.

Day 6: Munich - Neuschwanstein - Wies - Oberammergau, Ettal - Munich

After Breakfast our first stop is at Hohenschwangau where we visit the fairy tale castle of King Ludwig II, Neuschwanstein, then we drive to the glorious rococo church Wies. Continue to Oberammergau, home of the famous Passion Play which takes place every 10 years. The last event took place in the year 2000. Last stop at the Benedictine Monastery of Ettal. Overnight at Hotel Kempinski 4 Seasons, Munich.

Day 7: Landshut - Berchtesgaden - Salzburg, Fuschl

Today we are following the German Alpine Road, where you will have a splendid view of the Bavarian Alps.

In Berchtesgaden we will ride to Eagle’s Nest, Hitler’s former teahouse. After this we will go on to Salzburg, the picturesque birthplace of the famous composer Mozart. We visit the Mirabell Garden, Mozart’s House and explore the Getreidegasse and many other sights of the charming narrow streets.

In the evening enjoy a farewell dinner at your hotel. Overnight at Castle Hotel Schlosshotel Fuschl.

Day 8: Salzburg - FuschI - Munich Airport or Frankfurt

In the morning drive from Fuschl to Munich Airport or drive back to Frankfurt. Arrival in Frankfurt would be in the late afternoon.
