Day 1: Berlin
Upon arrival at the airport in Berlin, pick up of your rental car. Drive a short distance to your hotel in the city of Berlin. Check-in at your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Berlin
After breakfast, meet your local tour guide for a sightseeing tour to both sides of the city including the former East German sector. Highlights are the Museum Island, the Unter den Linden, the beautifully restored State Opera House and of course the Brandenburg Gate, Berlin's symbol. See the Reichstag Building, a massive Neo-Renaissance-style palace inaugurated in 1894 which has recently been crowned with a new dome. Drive through Tiergarten, the oldest park in the city including the Victory Column.
Remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure. Spend some time for shopping -
A must see is the famous KaDeWe!
Suggestion: visit the Pergamon Museum and its well known vast collection.

Day 3: Berlin
After breakfast, drive to the "town of palaces and gardens": Potsdam.
The highlight is a visit to Sanssouci Palace and Park - the most widely known attraction of the city. Return to Berlin and and continue to explore this fascinating city. You may want to check out the uncountable dinner possibilities of the city and the never ending nightlife.

Day 4: Berlin - Leipzig - Dresden
After breakfast, drive from Berlin to Dresden. Stop to visit the city of Wittenberg, where in 1517 Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Schlosskirche and set the Reformation in motion. Luther is buried in this church. Continue to the vibrant city of Leipzig known for its music and international trade fair the "Leipziger Messe". Here, visit the tomb of composer Johann Sebastian Bach in the famous Thomas Church. Then, travel on to Dresden for check-in at your hotel. Evening is at your leisure.

Day 5: Dresden - Sightseeing
After breakfast, start on an extensive sightseeing tour and experience the historic Dresden, once called the "Florence on the Elbe". Dresden has been rebuilt after major destruction due to horrific air raids in 1945. Unique art treasures, fascinating architecture, world-renowned orchestras are the highlights of the Saxon capital, for example, the Frauenkirche, which was consecrated and reopened in 2005. Not to miss is a visit of the famous Semper Opera House, the Royal Palace and the Green Vault collections, home of exquisite treasures gathered by the Saxon princes over centuries. Admire the "Procession of Dukes", a colossal mosaic and the cathedral. Visit the Zwinger, home of the largest porcelain museum in the world. Here, you would have a great opportunity for fine shopping.

Day 6: Dresden - Prague
After breakfast, drive along the valley of the River Elbe to the sandstone pinnacles and cliffs, one of Germany's most spectacular natural wonders and also called the "Saxon Switzerland". Across the Czech border visit the Terezin Memorial, a former fortress town which was converted into a concentration camp by the Nazis during World War II. Next stop is in the lovely town of Melnik, the ancient capital of Bohemia, at the confluence of the Labe and Vltava rivers, approx. 35 km north of Prague. The region belongs to the most important agricultural areas of the Czech Republic. After check-in at your hotel enjoy dinner at one of the historic restaurants accompanied by traditional music.

Day 7: Prague - Sightseeing
After breakfast, a guided sightseeing tour will introduce you to this fascinating city, also called "Golden Prague" which spreads either side of the Vltava River. Here you have an excellent view down over the Old Town the from the heights of Prague Castle, "a city within a city" dominated by the soaring spires of St. Vitus' Cathedral. After descending to the Old Town Square, you should not miss the "Four Apostles" appearing above the Astronomical Clock on the hour. The afternoon is at your leisure.

Day 8: Prague at Leisure
After breakfast, explore this beautiful city at your own pace. Stroll across the romantic Charles Bridge or visit the Jewish Quarter where the World's oldest synagogue still operates. A tour to one of the nearby castles or to the ancient mining town of Kutna Hora would be very interesting. Alternatively, you may want to devote the day to exploring the history of two of the most famous products: fine crystal and beer.

Day 9: Prague - Budapest
After breakfast, take a delightful scenic drive across the Blue Danube to reach the Slovakian border. During a brief visit of the capital of Bratislava and its dominating castle continue your drive
to Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Check-in at your hotel and relax.

Day 10: Budapest Sightseeing
This morning, a sightseeing tour takes you to both sides of the River Danube. Ascend to hilltop Buda with its cobbled streets of the Old Town; visit the Matthias Church, from here you gain a magnificent view down to the river Danube. Move to the commercial district of Pest with its Parliament Building and Heroes' Square. Take an excursion tour to discover the secret treasures of Budapest. In the evening, suggest you enjoy a typical Hungarian dinner with traditional gypsy entertainment.

Day 11: Budapest - Vienna
After breakfast, drive from Budapest through farmland with a short stop in the baroque town of Gyor before crossing the Hungarian border into Austria and your continuation to Vienna. Check-in at your hotel in Vienna. The remainder of the day at is at your leisure.

Day 12: Vienna Sightseeing
After breakfast, take a guided tour of Vienna showing you the Imperial Winter Palace, the Parliament and the imposing baroque architecture of the Opera House, St. Stephen's Cathedral. The remainder of the day is yours to explore the city of Vienna.
Suggestion: Visit the fabulous State Apartments of Schoenbrunn Palace and visit the Prater Amusement Park.
